Nooteboom 2-axle Euro-PX low loader

This low loader is equipped with a detachable gooseneck with outer beams. This gooseneck has been completely newly developed for this model. The advantage of this gooseneck used in this low-loader combination is more loading floor length within the same total length, a lower tare weight and a larger free-turning radius. The new gooseneck is one of the most striking details of the new scale model. With this model we have opted for a stable connection with the floor, so that heavier loads can be placed on the model without the neck tipping too much.

Nooteboom 2-axle Euro-PX low loader

The extendable loading floor is a so-called “shallow deck”, a very thin loading floor that makes it possible to transport higher loads within the permitted transport height. Of course we also see this reflected in the model. The loading floor has therefore also been completely newly developed for this scale model. For future models that we bring with containers, twistlocks can also be fitted in the pit, so that 20ft and 40ft containers can be secured to the floor.

Nooteboom 2-axle Euro-PX low loader

The new 2-axle EURO-PX low-loader is equipped with 2 swing axle lines and offers 12 tons of axle load per axle line at 80 km / h. The axle assembly is also lower due to the use of 245 tires instead of 285 tires. There is a deep wide boom groove in the axle assembly. This is important when transporting excavators, where the boom can be placed in the trench to limit the transport height. The boom trench can be fitted with two optional bulkheads, creating space for all kinds of tools when the trench space is not required for a load.
